Week 10 in Florida

This week has been an ok week. On Tuesday I went on an exchange with one of the English Elders. It was a lot of fun we taught this lady that I found the week before and passed to them about the Plan of Salvation. It was a great lesson. Also now we are teaching differently the Restoration. We are know using the pictures and teaching as simply as possible. It has been great. On Thursday my pain that I’ve had in my stomach got worse so I went to the hospital to see what it is and got medicine that makes you sleep so I wasn’t able to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday. But know I feel a lot better which is good. I also had Presidents interview on Friday. It was really great. He said that my companion and I need to be speaking Spanish all day everyday, which is hard, but we will do. It’s been a very interesting week. Today we are planning on going fishing as a district. Over in the Intercostal waterway so that should fun. I love and miss all of you.

Week 8 in Florida

Hola,

This week has been great we have been finding a few awesome people. And its been cool that the new video #BecauseHeLives has come out. The people that we have shown it to love it. We have invited a few to watch it and they have said that they have already seen the video, which is really cool. Share it with all your friends helives.mormon.org. This week has been great we had a mission conference on Wednesday. It was really good. And now we are going to find a family at 4:00pm every Friday. It should be really cool finding a family every Friday. The thing I learned the most this week is the power of the Priesthood. It’s amazing to think of the Power and Authority I have. And that I have the same power as Jesus Christ had. The last few weeks we have been able to give so many blessings for members. It is amazing the power of the Priesthood. A new member of our ward that the Sisters baptized had cancer. And she was feeling really sick before her baptism a couple. We thought that she want going to be able to get baptized because of her Chemo treatments. My companion and I went over and gave a Priesthood blessing. The spirit was so strong. The next day she went to the Doctor to get the treatment and the Doctor couldn't find the paper work. So she was able to get baptized. The Monday after her baptism she went to the doctor and three checked and the cancer was gone. It’s amazing to think of how we through our Heavenly Father can bless someone like that. I want to strive to always be worthy of that priesthood. Through the priesthood I’ve seen so many great miracles.  I love and miss all of you.

Week 7 in Florida

Hey everyone,

This week has been another great week. This week went by fast. My companion is now the District Leader witch is pretty cool. This week I have had some awesome experiences. We have been trying to be more diligent in our work. We have seen some pretty awesome miracles this week. On Saturday night we found and awesome family. WE are going back to teach them tonight. Tomorrow I'm also taking over my area and exchanging with a Greene missionary who's been out for a week and doesn't know any Spanish. So that should be fun and interesting. On Tuesday we are also taking a family to the temple, which should be cool. We still haven't been able to have any investigators at Sacrament, which stinks. Yesterdays Sacrament was awesome to because we acutely had an organist. It was funny a couple of weeks ago our ward usually one of the Bishop brick members hook there phone up to the speakers and play the music of the speakers. Well during the Sacrament Hymn someone must of sent him a text because a chicken sound went off through the whole chapel. Everyone laughed then kept singing it was so funny and I've never seen a whole someone so red in my life. Well this week has been good and this upcoming is going to be even better. I love you guys,

Week 6 in Florida

Hey Everyone,

This week has been great we have seen a lot of great miracles. Tomorrow is transfers but I am staying here in Hollywood, which is awesome. I knew that I would be staying most likely. This last week my companion and I tried to work as hard as we could this last week we saw a little progress in our area, which is good. On Tuesday we took a less active family and Friday we took an investigator to the temple. It was amazing the spirit that was there both times. The temple here is so amazing. I love it so much. On Saturday I went on an exchange to the English area. We biked their whole area almost, all the way to the beach to visit a member. We also knocked on these big rich houses down near the beach. Most of the people where kind of nice but most shoved the door in our face. This week has been cool. We are hoping to baptize the Gutierrez family the ones we took to the temple on Friday. I know that this church is TRUE. The spirit is so REAL. Heavenly Father has lead and guided me so much this last six weeks. It’s been though but also great. I am so grateful to share the Truth with so many people. I love this work and know its true.

Week 5 in Florida

This last week was pretty great. On Wednesday one of the Assistants to the President came out with us. It was a really awesome day. We are hoping to find a family of 5. It’s been hard though. This week we meet some awesome people. I’ve noticed though that the awesome people we find they are so busy and it’s hard to meet with them. We have been teaching this awesome family. On Friday my companion and I taught the Plan of Salvation lesson to them. It was so cool how the spirit was so strong and how they felt it. That family has also been reading the Book of Mormon. But the only thing is they didn't come to church. Sacrament Meeting is the most important part of the week. But its way better when our investigators are there. Next Sunday is Stake Conference. And the stake center is pretty far from here. I’m hoping that some will show next week. Well this week is the last week of the transfer and I’m hoping and am going to make it the best week of the transfer. I love and miss all of you.

Week 4

Hey Everyone,

Its been another great and interesting week here in Florida. I've been learning so much each day on how to be a better missionary. This week we had zone conference in Napels FL. The focus of it was how to find the elect the people who are ready to have the gospel in there lives. Also having more faith while finding. This month is Miracle March. We have a goal of 100 baptisms this month. I am really excited. This week we found a lady that seem really interested in the church. She excepted baptism. She was also a church yesterday. The only thing is that we might have to give her to the YSA ward which would stink. Saturday was an interesting day. It rained almost all day until 3 in the afternoon. My companion when and did some finding. We where drive down one of the roads and my companion said WATER. I looked up and the whole street was flooded. So we where in the middle of this deep water. We decided to push our car. We took off our shoes and rolled up our pants and pushed it through. We realized that the parking lot that we pushed it to didn't have a way to get out on the other road. So we had to push it back through. Luckily our engine started when we got to the other parking lot. But we had to help two other cars that did the same thing as us so we push them too. It was fun. Its been a great week though here in FL. The weather has been great. The people have been great. And the food has been great. I love and miss all of you.
